The Painted Ladies Rodeo Performers (PLRP) have always been known for their grace, strength, and connection to the beauty of the rodeo world. But behind the sparkle and precision of our performances lies a deeper story—one shaped by personal experiences of loss and trauma.

As members of PLRP, we have each walked through difficult times of grief, loss, and healing. These moments not only tested us but also revealed the strength we could draw from one another and from the incredible bonds we share with animals. It was through these experiences that we discovered the powerful role animals can play in the healing process.

This realization inspired us to create a foundation built on compassion, resilience, and hope. Through our shared stories and a desire to give back, we established this non-profit to support grieving young adults and children who, like us, have faced trauma.

We are passionate about creating a safe and nurturing space where healing begins with the gentle touch of an animal, the trust they inspire, and the unconditional love they provide. Together, we aim to help others find comfort, strength, and a path forward through the transformative power of animal-assisted interactions.
