One horse, accompanied by two program facilitators, will be placed at each of the four bonding stations and the stations sessions will be 1.5 hours in length. Facilitators are experienced in horsemanship and will spend time discussing safety around horses, the terminology for basic parts of a horse, explain intuitive senses that horses possess and how they play an important role with the participant bonding experience, the basic care of horses and then transition to a hands-on interaction with the horses by teaching participants how to groom, feed, halter and lead a horse.
